Game of Thrones Season 6: Kit Harrington admits Jon Snow is alive?

The emotional see-saw that is the Jon Snow saga has taken another lurching change of direction this week, with Kit Harington himself changing what has been an adamant stance on Snow's fate.

For some strange reason, we just don't get bored discussing whether Jon Snow is still alive or not. As the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch was stabbed to death by his own men in the dying seconds of Season 5, everybody watching on helplessly seemed to lose a tiny bit of their soul. The weeks following the season finale were accompanied by infinite fan theories explaining how Jon Snow could have possibly survived, that Kit Harington would return next year, and that we mustn't give up hope. These theories were swiftly axed when GoT producers confirmed to Barack Obama that there was no coming back for the Lord Commander, but to say we didn't still harbor hopes that he would somehow appear in Season 6 would simply be a lie. Alas, whilst recently in Paris, Harington relit the flame of hope after comments he made in an interview with Belgian weekly television magazineHumo. Warning: the following may make you inadvertently jump out of your seat with excitement...

Advertising his upcoming film A Testament of Youth, Harington faced the same questions he's been asked for months about Game of Thrones, and about Jon Snow's fate, only to respond with an entirely different answer:"Let’s just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I’ll probably be in my thirties when it’s over. One thing’s for sure: the day I'm no longer on Thrones is the day I’ll bury myself in movie projects." Wait. What!? What does that mean!? He also stated: "The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract." If he is still under contract, surely this can only mean that we will be seeing Jon Snow again on Thrones...Of course, knowing that Ned Stark will be reappearing in Season 6 through means of a flashback, this may well also be the way that Harington returns, rather than because he actually survived. Alternatively, he may have just been completely trolling us - he does have complete, unrelenting control over us with his every word, after all. In any case, the Jon Snow saga refuses to die - watch this space for the next chapter! We've asked you before, and we'll ask you again: do you think Jon Snow is alive?

The Flash Season 2 promo trailer teases Jay Garrick

With less than a month to go before the debut of The Flash Season 2 on The CW, we now have a fresh promo teaser of "New Season, New Threats," including our first real look at Teddy Sears' Jay Garrick. As Adam Copeland's Atom Smasher says, it's "Showtime!"

The man who saved Central City will soon be revealed when The Flash hits The CW on Tuesday, October 6. And with him, a slew of new DC heroes and parallel-universe villains will spill out of the wormhole the S.T.A.R. Labs team tore into the space-time continuum at the end of last season's finale. With the death of Eddie Thawne and Barry Allen's disappearance into the galactic singularity over Central City, The Flash Season 2 promises a shakeup in Team Arrow's dynamics, not least of which will be a more pronounced role for Iris West in The Flash Season 2, which actress Candice Patton recently clarified at Dragon Con 2015. After Barry Allen's previous mentor Harrison Wells was killed and had his personality hijacked by Eobard Thawne, the present Flash will need a new mentor to help him deal with the volatility of the newly discovered multiverse, first manifested in the form of Atom Smasher, played by former wrestler Adam Copeland. And as his new mentor hints in the teaser below, "there'll be more to follow."

"My name is Jay Garrick, and your world is in danger." The promo trailer, New Season, New Threats, starts off with the aftermath of last season's destructive singularity. And while Barry Allen seems to have made it out alive, the fallout from the breach is only now being felt. Cue Atom Smasher, who was teased in an earlier promo trailer, now shown in full form ahead of the season premiere. "When you created the singularity above Central City you created a portal," Teddy Sears' Jay Garrick informs the gathered S.T.A.R. Labs team. "If he got threw there'll be more to follow." Over the past months, we've seen the floodgates open on new villain casting for The Flash Season 2, not least the ultra villain for this season, Zoom. And it looks like, as the season progresses, the rather maladroit Atom Smasher will only be the beginning of their troubles. Check out the return of Cisco, Joe West, a new Flash costume and his Batman-esque signal in the teaser above! What do you think of how The Flash Season 2 is coming together?

Arrow Season 4: Marc Guggenheim gives the low-down on Olicity

After finally giving in to temptation and leaving Starling City together at the end of Season 3, a bumpy ride could lie in wait for Olicity. Hear what EP Marc Guggenheim had to say on the supercouple here.

It was a seemingly interminable will-they/won't they saga, but when Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak eventually conceded their feelings for each other and drove off gleefully into the radiating Starling City sunset, a collective sigh of satisfaction could be heard worldwide from viewers of The CW's Arrow. With just a few weeks remaining until the show premieres for Season 4, we don't have long to brush up on our Arrow knowledge - hey, we wouldn't judge you if you decided to watch the whole of Season 3 again! Of course, with Ollie having just done away with Ra's al Ghul, leaving Malcolm in charge of the League of Assassins, and with Neal McDonough ready to be introduced as the evil Damien Darhk, the latest installment of the DC-based drama is set to be gargantuan - check out the official trailer right here. Alongside the vigilante crime-fighting, however (oh, and the small matter of Sara Lance's resurrection), we can expect to see the development (for better or worse) of Olicity's relationship. We at melty want to see how the couple deals with balancing the new-found pressures of saving Star City as well as making space for date night. Thankfully, TVInsider managed to get hold of EP Marc Guggenheim, who spilled the beans on all things Olicity.

Five months will have elapsed since we last saw Olicity, and when asked what they had been getting up to, Guggenheim responded: “They have been all over the world traveling. They’ve had a grand old time going to different places and have since settled down in another city and [are] living under very different circumstances.” In fact (prepare yourself for this), it appears that Ollie is even morphing into some sort of Netflix and pizza fiend like the rest of us at home: “Oliver even says in the premiere that he is enjoying making evening plans that don't involve him being shot at.” One of the biggest mysteries surrounding Olicity is whether they actually have the potential to stick it out through thick and thin. Guggenheim joked that the couple would last “longer than the first episode, which would beat our record!” Then, putting on his serious cap, he explained that the producers plan to “explore the nature of their relationship as a couple and we have no desire to break them up before [that]...one of the fun parts of the season is the will they stay together or break up.” In other words, the will-they/won't they saga really is interminable. It's just that during Season 4, it refers to them breaking up rather than hooking up! Do you see Olicity staying together throughout Season 4, and maybe even further?

American Horror Story Season 5 trailer gives us our first official look at Lady Gaga's Hotel

After months of waiting and frantic speculation, FX has finally released its first look into American Horror Story Season 5's Hotel. Not only do we get a sense of the look and style of the upcoming run, but the principal cast all appear in character. Only a month to go before the real thing!

How does that song your dad used to sing around the campfire go? "You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave." The Eagles may not be the most appropriate backdrop to Countess Elizabeth's Hotel Cortez, set in LA. But the new Hotel California has all the sinewy mystery of that classic song, with an Art Deco-Mother Monster twist. Imagine walking the corridors of a kitch Hotel built during the Great Depression with whispers of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. That's exactly what we get in this first look trailer of AHS Season 5, titled Hallways, which walks us through the labyrinthine corridors of Hotel Cortez like Bad Romance on infinite loop.

Hotel Cortez has opened, as American Horror Story Season 5's Denis O'Hare teased (in character as Liz Taylor of course). While we get little by way of plot lines in this first peek, some general motifs are established at the outset. The first is the theme of repetition, from the unnerving soundtrack of Gaga's intoning "hurry me" over and over to the pale children with bleached hair that recall the classic sixties horror film Village of the Damned. The second is layers. Each passage holds a different, slightly jagged tone as we pass from room to room along the seemingly never ending "hallways." We see laundry staff putting away the dirty bags, guests being dragged along human leashes, people who just seem to hang around, and always those suited kids with vacant eyes that could prove this season's enduring fixture, much like the one we saw accompanying Lady Gaga in photos revealed on the set of American Horror Story Season 5Are you ready?

Pretty Little Liars Season 6, who is the new "big bad"?

We're still months away from the return of Pretty Little Liars Season 6 and fans can't help speculating over the show's new "big bad". We here at melty are so curious that we decided to put on our detective caps and think about who the new villain could be, check out who made our list

Now that the long-drawn out A storyline is finally finito, Pretty Little Liars fans are wondering about the series' new "big bad". The summer finale ended with Spencer, Hanna, Aria, and Emily returning to Rosewood to help Alison escape from someone who is coming after her. They warn Ali: "He is coming," and "it's too late, he's already here." Dun dun dun! So who is this "he" that's chasing after Alison? Well it seems pretty obvious that "he" is the new "big bad". (We're really hoping they call this baddie something other than "he", even "A" is a better pseudo name than that.) Along with a mysterious new villain, Pretty Little Liars is getting a new intro to go along with the time jump and new direction of the show. After watching the show for six seasons, we're not naive - we know that the name and identity of the new baddie in Rosewood won't be revealed until the end of the season, or most likely the series. But that won't stop us from speculating who it could be. From what showrunner I. Marlene King has teased, the new "big bad" was involved in - if not responsible for - Mrs. DiLaurentis' murder, making them someone the PLLs knew from high school.

Lucas
King revealed Lucas will be back in action for Season 6B and that he's got a surprise to share. Alison was absolutely horrible to Lucas in high school, calling him Hermy the hermaphrodite. So it would come as no surprise if Lucas still harbored some ill-will towards Ali, even if she's changed her ways after the five-year time jump. Lucas hasn't been seen since the beginning of Season 5, the fact that he'll be back after the time jump must mean he contributes to the new storyline in some way. King wouldn't bring Lucas back for no reason, we have a feeling the showrunner has something big planned for Lucas, especially with that surprise of his.

Jason
For those of you thinking: "But Jason is Alison's brother, why would he come after her?" let us remind you that A turned out to be Ali's sister Charlotte. We're going to let our imaginations run wild for a second and think of a situation that would lead Jason to turn into a villain. Oh here's one: Jason's older brother, who his parents told him was imaginary, transitioned into a girl and dated him, but also nearly killed him a couple times as A, before eventually drugging and paralyzing him and forcing him to listen to her life story. It's possible that Jason could be so upset at the events that went down that he resents Alison for wanting or having a relationship with Charlotte. Although, Jason seems like a pretty understanding and reasonable guy; this is all just speculation.

Wren
Wren too is making a comeback to Rosewood, however Julian Morris, who plays Wren, currently stars in another series called Hand of God. Despite this hindrance, King has promised that Wren will make an appearance before the end of the show. And just like Cece, Wren doesn't need to be in a lot of episodes to be the "big bad". Viewers won't discover the villain's face until the end anyway. Throughout the episodes "he" will probably only be talked about in the third person or be disguised if "he" does show up to cause some trouble. Who do you think the new "big bad" could be?
